Greenbrier Softball Field Renovation

The Greenbrier Softball Field Renovation was started to re-design and upgrade the two existing softball fields at Greenbrier Middle School which were not constructed to standard Middle School or Pony League softball dimensions. The fields have been minimally maintained since construction and due to heavy rains and weather many ruts and low lying areas have created a very rough playing field in desperate need of upgrading.   In addition to the GMS Softball team, the fields are also used by Greenbrier Athletic Association for the Spring and Fall seasons.  Each year, GAA has several teams with girls ranging in age from 6 – 13.

This project will include:

• Complete re-grading of the existing fields to allow proper drainage
• Addition of dugouts on both fields
• New permanent outfield fencing on Field 1
• Repair/replacement of existing fencing as needed
• New Storage/Concessions Building
• New infield soil with proper mixture
• Plus, many other improvements…..!

This is a parent sponsored project; no City or School funds will be used.  All funds will be collected via individual donations, corporate donations, and fundraising events.
